 Covid-19 Protocol

UPDATE SUMMER 2023:

While the dangers of Covid-19 have (thankfully!) lessened and the ‘state of emergency’ has been lifted, we are still taking precautions at Magnolia Healing Arts. Running a HEPA-ultra air filter, continuing to use hand sanitizer, and (KN95 preferred) masking for practitioner and client throughout the session. If you have any questions or concerns about this protocol, please reach out and I am happy to discuss.

I want to assure you that Magnolia Healing Arts is taking every possible precaution against the transmission of Covid-19. Because the virus is spread between people, I will also have questions and requirements for you as a client to enter the shared space. We are truly in this together, and it has never been more clear how interconnected we are as humans.

Communication is key (always) but especially now. If you have any questions about if an appointment is safe for you, don’t hesitate to contact Sandra.

For Clients:

Prior to Your Session

  • All clients must provide proof of vaccination to receive sessions.

  • Monitor your body temperature regularly, and take temp in morning before coming in for a session. Temp must be “normal” to attend session.

  • Monitor for symptoms of Covid, and do not attend session with any abnormal symptoms. I’m very aware that people experience allergy symptoms in all seasons. If you are at all uncertain about your symptoms, please either get tested, or stay home.

  • Please practice mask wearing in public spaces and general hand hygiene at all times.

  • Know that I might be required to share your information as part of contact tracing if it becomes necessary for the State of Maine.

Regarding Air Travel

  • Please monitor symptoms and test for Covid prior to attending a session.

At Your Session

  • You must keep your ‘ear-loop style’ mask on the entire time you are in the building. N95 or equivalent masks have been shown to be most effective against the spread of new variants, so those are preferred. Project N95 is a trusted source to acquire masks and other PPE, CLICK HERE for info.

  • Please wash your hands thoroughly when you enter the building.

  • I will take your temperature with a contactless thermometer before you enter my studio.

  • We will each use hand sanitizer as you enter the studio.

  • Please bring your own water bottle to the session.

If You Have/Had or have been exposed to Covid

  • Please follow CDC guidelines regarding quarantine and self isolation.

  • I will require a negative antigen test post-covid, before you return for a session.

For Practitioner/The Studio:

  • I am personally wearing a mask in public spaces, and practicing hand hygiene, symptom monitoring, and regular testing.

  • I will be wearing a mask throughout the session.

  • I will be running an AirDoctor HEPA Ultra Air Filter in the space at all times. When weather permits, windows can be open as well.

  • The entire table will be changed between every client, including top linen.
